MARYSVILLE SILLY HALL LOVES PG+E

The local rag, The Appeal Democrat, is loaded with comments about PG&E bills due to 'smart meters' in use local.

If one is to believe most comments, PG&E is 'evil' and out to rake in all cash possible from poor folks who are customers. Mind, Marysville must not be so poor as a city, as denizens of Silly Hall make no effort to be 'smart' in how electric bills are lowered. Unless of course as a city you just switch off the large street lamps, casting roads into darkness.

What is strange to this old geezer is how odd this appears. Lamps outside of Yuba County Court House have been switched off, casting the frontage of building into darkness. While Marysville Silly Hall is awash in light from the ornamental lamps ringing it. They stay illuminated well after light returns to road.

Mind, the denizens of Silly Hall do not mind the bills, the residents of Marysville will have to pay, along with the 'icebox' temps inside of Silly Hall.

PG&E has 'smart meters', only so smart as the folks who use them. It would appear that the denizens of Marysville Silly Hall are right clever in wasting the coin in the public purse.
