L'Chaim !

My dears, as I start the second day of the third year of the sixth decade on this earth, I am a bit full of self.

Saturday past, I was taken away from my labours by a mate to a lovely hotel.  The room was quite grand, the company superior and the meal and potables hit the spot.  Add in a little fruit machine action and one can easily see that this old geezer celebrated the start of another year in high fashion.

LIFE, what a precious gift it be.  Driven home by the recent stay in hospital by me flatmate, Paul.  His COPD has got the best of him and he is not tethered to a long hose that delivers air to 24/7.  Years of having a gasp have caught up with.  Paul is not one to be ill with grace, he tends to feel put upon and has hard time accepting the change in his health.  Perhaps in time he will come round and accept the limits placed on.  Has to, when you consider the alternative.

This old geezer feels old as dirt, the rich kind that brings forth life.  Whole of life has prepared MOI for being able to. May well be some who would like to hurl dirt back at, but think of what can be done with mud??

The newly planted flowers took a hit during the weekend.  Some evil bugger thought it cute to stomp down the lovely flowers.  More's the pity that beauty makes some rail against.  Will just have to fix the damage.

"How are things going at the 'gay' Villa?"; was asked by a former tenant to one still living at the Linda Villa.  What a laugh.  How did making pretty become so 'gay'?  Right odd how evil creatures love to try and piss all over ones they so do not understand.  Mind, what will the poor bugger say when the buildings are re-painted in bright Pink?  You do realize I am putting you on right?

Truth be told, this old geezer is going to continue leading as active a life as possible.  What wondrous things could be achieved if the lazy layabouts on road and in community would try to do likewise.  How horrid that some are willing to let life pass by.

There you have it, another reportage from MOI.  Now to put away the party favours and get to work on the block party to come...
