Rumour has it that the pool of workers who contributed to purchase of tickets to Mega Millions in Maryland has been left out of the winners circle. Seems a co-worker, bought more tickets with the pool's cash and took tickets home. Learning that the winning ticket was in the lot, she told her co-workers that the winning ticket was 'bought' separate from the cash from the pool...
At first it might seem a sad day to not have been in the pool of workers who wanted to be rich. Now, it would be a blessing, as the shock of this would surely have one completely mad.
The workers at the local MCDONALD'S will have to make due with bad pay and hope that the fight to be part of the pay out is forced by the courts. Meanwhile, the co-worker claiming the prize might well take the cash and leave the country, she is from Haiti...
