THIS JUST IN....

Times are hard for an OAP in Hawaii.  In a pilot programme, funded by the Waikiki Visitors Bureau, Ron has been hired to provide directions and safety tips to tourists.  Ron was picked due to his rather colourful choice of work costume.  "I picked orange as it made me look like a safety cone and less likely to be knocked down by traffic", the new hired is quoted as saying.

Word on the street is that Ron has become something of a tourist attraction.  Mind, best wear your sun glasses...
