One of the most moving moments in life was to visit this monument in Amsterdam. The only place I know of where the memory of the dead homosexuals is remembered.
Over the years, I have asked loads of folks known, if they visited this monument while they were in Amsterdam. They could tell of all of the 'gay' spots visited while there but not about this. I always thought it was a bit odd, given that many were rabid gay activist.
