The old geezer in Fancy Dress

Dear reader, the whole point of the journey to Oahu was to rest me lame leg.  When one has loads of time to sit, the idea of playing dress up comes to mind.

Lacking anything regal, as in British, the old geezer thought he would look rather smart decked out in something French.  The Palace of Fontainebleau, must have been on mind, as I took to the 'french' look completely.

It did not take much to get the old geezer in Fancy Dress.

MOI is Over It...

Looking at the snaps, one has a giggle.  The old geezer comes off like Voltaire.   Flopped in a baroque chair, the old geezer comes off as a French Dandy.  Did you catch the umbrella?

One has to wonder how chaps tolerated the bother of a wig.  Was bleeden hot it was.

There you have it, proof that the old geezer can strike a pose...

FANCY DRESS GONE BAD

What was I thinking?  What a character.....

The year was 2008 and I had taken on the persona of Inspector "Busy Body" in the neighbourhood lived.  Ever on the lookout for crime and graffiti I was.  Oddly enough, it worked, neighbours thought I was a joke but the joke was on them.  Crime dropped like a rock.

I have a 'history' for being 'weird.....

SPREADING CHRISTMAS CHEER

Rather think that one of best times had at Christmas was dressing up and visiting City Hall and thanking all of the public employees for their service.  What a thrill it was ti see so many adults line up to have picture taken with SANTA.  Mind, it helped that I had a samrt costume on and with the added weight looked very much like SANTA.

Christmas is all about the giving, not the getting.  Truth be told the experience left me with memories that will last a life time.
