'ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU, BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY'
In times past, every time the old geezer talks about 'same sex' marriage, the post box fills with mean comments from the 'lavender elite'. Having said that, it seems that there is still much to be said on the subject.
The views on this subject are me own, not that of a group or special interest.
MOI has a problem with self serving folks, be they President of United States or Card Carrying Members of the Lavender Elite.
One would think that in light of so many problems facing America today, the subject of same sex marriage would not be getting the amount of ink that is now getting. Regardless of the failure of NC to grant the right to marry to homosexuals, we need to stay focused on the more important issues of the day. Like jobs, housing, poverty, health care.
The president can not change the law of the land. His opinion, in my opinion, was solely based on pandering to homosexuals, for cash to fund re-election, and to suck up to young voters, showing them how 'hip' he is, how tuned in to the times he be. Total rubbish.
How sad that homosexuals keep pushing this agenda. The small minority of loud homosexuals who want the whole world to believe that every homosexual in America craves this right.
Truth be told, this small group of loud homosexuals, proves the point that they are 'one-issue' creatures. ME, ME, ME. Forget about the horrid issues facing the country this election year, just give ME what I want and will be happy. As if homosexuals are going to do marriage any better than heterosexuals.
Same sex marriage is not the burning bush for this old geezer, nor I expect for many other homosexuals. Getting this country moving again, in the right direction, is.
Really, ask yourself this, do you care who the old geezer loves? Do you worry if an invite to wedding is in the post???
JFK must be rolling over in grave...
