I received a letter from Silly Hall, from Mr. Stephen Casey, City Manager of Marysville.

Dear Mr. DeFrees:
I have been informed by the City Clerk that you requested an appointment to meet with me regarding the Chief of Police. I must respectfully decline such a meeting. Any communication you wish to have with this office must be in writing, by using the U.S. mail or hand delivered(no emails or blogs). Any response this office chooses to make to your communication will also be made in writing (U.S. Mail).
I have also instructed the City Department Heads and their staff not to have any verbal conversations with you during work time related to any aspect of the City that is not required by law or duty. Again, you are free to contact any City office in writing (as defined above), if you have any questions or concerns. Any responses to your inquiries will be made in writing.
I take this action reluctantly, however, your continual misrepresentation of verbal conversations and your insults directed towards this City, the City Council and City staff require that I take the actions outlined above.

Right odd it be that this old geezer must use the post, and the City of Marysville can avail self of email when it suits it. Just the other day, was sent email with information requested by me attached to.
