CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE?

My dears, not every arrow in quiver hits mark, there be right tough folks out there who will never feel warm and cuddly toward MOI. More's the pity that, as there is much to love.

I can accept that there be some who will always loathe this old geezer. It is a bit much for some to deal with the endless crusade to save the road lived on and the community a part of. Many do not see drugs as the 'poison' it be and feel that MOI is too shrill in banging on about at every opportunity.

The path taken in life is not always the easy one, one knows that in setting out. There be risks and much hard work in trying to right some of the social ills that many in the community have become so 'au fait' with that they hardly see them anymore.

The road lived on, community a part of and the place lived at are the single most important areas to this old geezer. There is every change that a difference can be made here, local, and up colose and in person. I will never be able to impact opinion in Washington, feed all of the hungry, house all of the homeless or give comfort to the many who suffer from health problems that will kill too soon in life.

Local, there be many opportunities to create lasting change. What better purpose in life than to try and make neighbours feel a part of a community that cares and supports. A hand up, not a hand down. It is not charity, it is one person caring for another person, the way it should always be. When did neighbourly love and concern become charity?

From where I sit, it be right brilliant to be part of a noble effort to make more folks feel brilliant about selves and the community they live in. It be right lovely to see more and more folks take an active interest in road and placed lived. A community is being reborne here.

Regardless of how some take the actions of this old geezer, MOI will still fire arrows into the air. It is quite possible that the love shot toward some will be felt and actions will change. Is it not better to spread love than hate?
